Job summary

Andrew Peller Limited's The Wine Shop is seeking customer-focused sales professionals to deliver a superior shopping experience to our guests. We welcome those with guest service excellence, POS familiarity, and a proactive attitude to assist customers and manage transactions in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
• Smart Serve Certification is required.
• Proficiency with Windows applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly.
• Cash handling experience.
• Experience with point-of-sale systems is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Ensure total customer satisfaction and outstanding customer service to every customer.
• Assist customers with purchases and provide product information as required.
• Assist with product shipments and merchandising, including light cleaning of shelves and display units.
• Handle cash and balance the till accurately.
• Comply with Health and Safety rules and security within the workplace.
• Be a team player and contribute to the team's efforts.

• Demonstrated guest/customer service excellence focus
• Experience working with computer-based point of sale systems and handling cash an asset
• 2 years of customer service experience required
• Smart Serve Certification
• Working knowledge of Windows application including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Ability to consistently lift 40lbs on a regular basis
