Job summary

Staples Canada in Alliston, Ontario, is seeking an enthusiastic team member to deliver outstanding customer service and engage customers across furniture, technology, and office supplies. You will help drive sales and work closely with store leaders to meet goals.

You will handle transactions at the POS, assist customers, and keep the store clean and organized. A collaborative, customer-focused approach is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 3 months to 1 year of prior retail experience (preferred).

Specifically, you will

• Engage with and sell to all our customers by offering tailored products and services using all tools and techniques available in our selling model to anticipate and meet future customer needs.
• Handle transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system, including shipping transactions and marketing tools to convert customers.
• Calmly de-escalate and assist in complex customer situations to ensure their concerns are addressed effectively or refer to a manager/supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe store environment by performing tasks like dusting, front-facing products, and ensuring demo units are clean and functional.
