Job summary

The Wine Shop in Hamilton, Ontario is seeking friendly sales teammates to deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will assist guests choosing wines, manage purchases at a POS, and keep shelves tidy while maintaining accurate till balances.

Qualifications

• 2 years of customer service experience required.
• Smart Serve Certification.
• Experience with computer-based point of sale systems and handling cash an asset.
• Working knowledge of Windows applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to consistently lift 40lbs on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Ensure total customer satisfaction and outstanding customer service for every customer.
• Assist customers with purchases and provide product information when required.
• Assist with product shipments and merchandising, including light shelf/display cleaning.
• Handle cash and accurately balance the till.
• Comply with Health and Safety rules & Security within the workplace.
• Be a team player contributing to the team's efforts.
