Job summary

Andrew Peller Limited is seeking a customer-focused teammate to support the Wine Shop in Parry Sound, ON. You will help customers choose wines, answer product questions, and assist with shipments and merchandising in a fast-paced retail setting.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years in customer service, Smart Serve certification, and comfort with POS systems. Availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays is expected, with the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• Guest and customer service excellence focus.
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling.
• Minimum 2 years customer service experience.
• Smart Serve Certification.
• Proficiency with Windows apps: Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Flexible to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Ensure total customer satisfaction and outstanding service for every customer.
• Assist customers with purchases and provide product information when needed.
• Assist with product shipments and merchandising, including light cleaning of shelves/display units.
• Handle cash and balance till accurately.
• Comply with Health and Safety rules & Security in the workplace.
• Be a team player contributing to the team's efforts.

• Demonstrated guest/customer service excellence focus
• Experience working with computer-based point of sale systems and handling cash an asset
• 2 years of customer service experience required
• Smart Serve Certification
• Working knowledge of Windows application including Word, Excel and Outlook

• Ability to consistently lift 40lbs on a regular basis
