Job summary

The Wine Shop Ltd. in Fergus, Ontario, is seeking an energetic sales teammate to deliver a superior shopping experience. You will assist customers, share product knowledge, handle transactions, and help with merchandising and light cleaning of shelves.

The role requires Smart Serve, cash handling, and strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. You should be able to lift up to 40 lbs and work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 2 years of customer service experience required.
• Smart Serve Certification.
• Working knowledge of Windows applications (Word, Excel and Outlook).
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs regularly.
• Experience with computer-based point of sale systems and cash handling is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring total customer satisfaction and outstanding customer service is provided to every customer.
• Assist customers with their purchases and provides them with product information when required.
• Assists with product shipments and merchandising, including light cleaning of shelves and display units.
• Handle cash and accurately balance the till.
• Complies with Health and Safety rules & Security within the workplace.
• Team player who contributes equally to the team's efforts.
