Job summary

The Wine Shop #151 at Zehrs, Cambridge, ON is seeking an energetic team member to provide outstanding customer service and wine knowledge. You will assist customers, handle cash, and support merchandising and stock duties in a busy retail setting.

This role requires Smart Serve certification, 2 years of customer service experience, and flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Competitive hourly pay and employee perks are offered in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Guest/service excellence focus.
• Experience with computer-based point of sale systems and cash handling.
• 2 years of customer service experience.
• Smart Serve Certification.
• Working knowledge of Windows applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift 40lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Ensure total customer satisfaction and outstanding service for every customer.
• Assist customers with purchases and provide product information as needed.
• Assist with shipments and merchandising, including light shelf/display cleaning.
• Handle cash and balance till accurately.
• Comply with Health and Safety rules and security in the workplace.
• Be a team player contributing to collective efforts.
