Job summary

Long & McQuade Musical Instruments is seeking a Sales and Rental Associate in Red Deer, AB. You will help customers buy or rent musical instruments and gear, assess individual needs, and recommend the best product combinations and services.

You will demonstrate products, answer calls, and follow up on orders with customers and suppliers. You will maintain product knowledge, participate in weekly staff meetings, and help merchandise and maintain a welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a musician who plays at least one instrument.
• Must be able to work weekdays, weeknights and weekends.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Positive attitude and steady composure.
• Proven strong work ethic and commitment.
• High levels of energy and enthusiasm.
• Ability to lift and carry large boxes.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.

• Previous experience in retail or sales is an asset.
