Job summary

Long & McQuade Musical Instruments in Ottawa is seeking a Sales and Rental Associate to assist customers with buying and renting musical instruments and gear. You will identify each customer’s needs and pair them with the right products and services, demonstrate features, and answer inquiries with professionalism.

You will participate in weekly staff meetings, training, and store merchandising to create a welcoming shopping environment, while maintaining product knowledge and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be a musician who plays at least one instrument.
• Must be able to work weekdays, weeknights and weekends.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Positive attitude and steady composure.
• Proven strong work ethic and commitment.
• High levels of energy and enthusiasm.
• Ability to lift and carry large boxes.
