We are seeking a Safety, Health & Environmental Manager based in Edmonton to oversee health and safety policies, training, and compliance at our facility.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain health and safety initiatives and projects.
• Conduct safety orientations for new employees and ensure understanding of workplace risks and behaviors.
• Perform monthly safety audits, follow up on findings, and ensure resolution.
• Provide reports on incidents, injuries, absenteeism, and disability.
• Ensure legislative compliance across all health and safety regulations.
• Manage hazard analyses, safe work procedures, and ergonomic assessments.
• Investigate accidents thoroughly and respond appropriately.
• Handle occupational injury and illness cases, liaise with WCB and insurance providers.
• Manage return-to-work programs and promote positive employee relations.
• Support company policies and initiatives with enthusiasm.
