Job summary

Maple Leaf Foods Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead floor operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Saskatoon. You will coach staff, ensure safety, quality and efficiency, and partner with maintenance, FSQA, and planning teams to maintain smooth production flows.

The role emphasizes compliance with GMP, HACCP, and company standards, with a focus on continuous improvement and employee development.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising frontline staff in a unionized manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding of food safety, GMP, and HACCP practices.
• Proven ability to coach, develop, and maintain a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

• Meet daily production targets while upholding quality, safety and efficiency.
• Supervise floor staff, assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide coaching.
• Enforce HACCP, BRCGS, and Maple Leaf food safety standards.
• Identify process issues and minimize downtime through root-cause analysis.
