Job summary

Maple Leaf Foods is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead our manufacturing floor, coaching staff to meet daily production targets while maintaining quality, safety and efficiency. You’ll promote a culture of continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment and ensure GMP and HACCP adherence.

You’ll train new employees, coordinate with maintenance and FSQA teams, and drive safety and production excellence across shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Unionized manufacturing experience preferred.
• Supervise and develop frontline staff to meet production goals.
• 3–5 years in a supervisory role in a service or retail like environment.
• Willing to work diverse shifts and overtime as needed.
• Identify floor issues, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Meet daily production targets while upholding safety, quality and efficiency.
• Supervise floor staff, assign tasks, monitor performance, coach, and take corrective action.
• Enforce GMP, food safety, and food safety standards across operations.
• Monitor processes and equipment to minimize downtime.
• Complete batch sheets and shift reports with accuracy.
• Collaborate with maintenance, FSQA, H&S and planning teams.
• Lead daily shift meetings and communicate updates to the team.
