Job summary

Maple Leaf Foods is seeking an FSQA Team Leader at the Heritage facility to oversee food safety programs, review tasks, verify results, and lead cross-functional teams during audits and corrective actions.

You will supervise QA Process Leaders, plan staffing, train staff, and ensure compliance with HACCP, BRC, and FSQMS standards, while preparing for third-party audits.

Qualifications

• Post secondary education; B.Sc. in Chemistry or Microbiology would be an asset.
• 3+ years supervisory FSQA experience in food manufacturing, preferably unionized.
• Strong knowledge of food safety systems and HACCP principles.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a staff of QA Process Leaders to ensure tasks meet business needs.
• Administer Quality and Food Safety programs and protocols.
• Plan QA staffing and approve hours; manage training and onboarding.
