Job summary

Workiva in Toronto is seeking an Implementation Project Manager to lead successful professional services projects implementing or optimizing Workiva solutions. You will master the Workiva implementation methodology and serve as the main contact for customer engagements to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery that delivers customer value.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of project management experience with professional services projects
• Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred (business level)
• SaaS industry experience and PMP or similar project management certification are preferred
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar advanced project management certification is highly preferred
• Commercial acumen with experience in complex scope, budgets, and multi-party delivery models
• Demonstrated experience independently managing stakeholders and resolving customer escalations
• Strong project management discipline with the ability to independently manage a fast-paced portfolio and full lifecycle of assigned projects
• Proven ability to quickly earn the trust of key sponsors and stakeholders and resolve conflict at the project level
• Demonstrated ability to effectively apply implementation methodologies (e.g., Workiva methodology) and familiarity with Waterfall, Agile, or Scrum is a plus

Responsibilities

• Owns and drives the end-to-end execution of project plans for individual medium-to-high size/complexity Workiva-led engagements
• Serves as the primary point of contact for the customer and internal project team
• Manages all project documentation including project plans, status reports, risk logs, and budgets
• Proactively monitors and mitigates project risks and issues and escalates when necessary
• Helps resolve customer escalations with guidance from leadership
• Facilitates standard project change requests and manages expectations within scope
• Shares best practices and lessons learned across the project team or functional group
