Martin Veterinary Hospital in Toronto is seeking a qualified Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). You will support veterinarians in medical, surgical and dental care, using diagnostic equipment and preparing patients and instruments for procedures.

Ideal candidates have VTNE eligibility, a Canadian Veterinary Technology diploma, and good standing with the provincial college. Great teamwork and growth opportunities are offered alongside comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have passed the VTNE or be eligible to write it.
• Must be in good standing with the provincial regulatory association.
• Completed a 2- or 3-year accredited Canadian Veterinary or Animal Health Technology Diploma Program.

Responsibilities

• Assist Veterinarian with medical, surgical and dental procedures.
• Prepare patients, instruments and equipment for surgery; use diagnostic tools.
• Administer and monitor medicines under the Veterinarian's direction.

Our ideal Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) builds positive client relationships by displaying genuine care and compassion towards clients and their pets, being respectful in all interactions and providing exceptional customer service. The RVT also assists the Veterinarian with medical, surgical and dental procedures, by using a range of diagnostic equipment, preparing patients, instruments and equipment for surgery; and administering and monitoring medicines under the direction of a Veterinarian.

Our ideal Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) must have passed the VTNE or be eligible to write the VTNE, be in good standing with the provincial regulatory association and successfully completed a 2 or 3-year accredited Canadian Veterinary or Animal Health Technology Diploma Program.

Pay Range: $25.00 - $33.00/hr
