A veterinary care provider in the Niagara Region is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) to join their skilled team. The ideal candidate will assist in medical, surgical, and dental procedures, ensure exceptional customer service, and build positive relationships with clients. Applicants should be eligible to write the VTNE and have completed a veterinary technology diploma program. This position offers flexibility in scheduling and numerous growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have passed the VTNE or be eligible to write it.
• Be in good standing with the provincial regulatory association.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Veterinarian with medical, surgical, and dental procedures.
• Use diagnostic equipment and prepare patients and instruments for surgery.
• Administer and monitor medicines under a Veterinarian's direction.

Our ideal Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) builds positive client relationships by displaying genuine care and compassion towards clients and their pets, being respectful in all interactions and providing exceptional customer service. The RVT also assists the Veterinarian with medical, surgical and dental procedures, by using a range of diagnostic equipment, preparing patients, instruments and equipment for surgery; and administering and monitoring medicines under the direction of a Veterinarian.

Our ideal Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) must have passed the VTNE or be eligible to write the VTNE, be in good standing with the provincial regulatory association and successfully completed a 2 or 3-year accredited Canadian Veterinary or Animal Health Technology Diploma Program.
