Vancouver Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) to build strong client relationships with compassionate care and exceptional service. The RVT assists veterinarians in medical, surgical and dental procedures, using diagnostic tools and preparing patients and instruments for surgery.

Eligible to write VTNE or already certified, in good standing with the provincial regulatory body, and completed a Canadian Veterinary or Animal Health Technology Diploma Program.

About the Role

Our ideal Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) builds positive client relationships by displaying genuine care and compassion towards clients and their pets, being respectful in all interactions and providing exceptional customer service. The RVT also assists the Veterinarian with medical, surgical and dental procedures, by using a range of diagnostic equipment, preparing patients, instruments and equipment for surgery; and administering and monitoring medicines under the direction of a Veterinarian.

Our ideal Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) must have passed the VTNE or be eligible to write the VTNE, be in good standing with the provincial regulatory association and successfully completed a 2 or 3-year accredited Canadian Veterinary or Animal Health Technology Diploma Program.
