Martin Veterinary Hospital is a well-established AAHA-accredited practice serving the Etobicoke community for decades. We are seeking a dedicated Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our collaborative team, providing compassionate care to patients and excellent service to clients.

The RVT will assist veterinarians with medical, surgical and dental procedures, prepare patients and instruments, monitor anesthesia, and manage medications under supervision.

Qualifications

• VTNE must be passed or eligible to write VTNE.
• In good standing with provincial regulatory association.
• 2- or 3-year accredited Canadian Veterinary/Animal Health Technology Diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Veterinarian with medical, surgical and dental procedures.
• Prepare patients, instruments and equipment for surgery.
• Administer and monitor medicines under veterinarian direction.
• Monitor anesthesia and support patient recovery.
