Bass Pro Shops in Ottawa (Kanata) is seeking a Gun Counter Associate for a part-time role. The position requires safe handling of firearms and adherence to provincial, federal, and company regulations, while helping customers find merchandise and make buying decisions.

Responsibilities include maintaining store appearance, promoting programs, and delivering legendary customer service. A PAL is required, with prior sales or service experience preferred.

Qualifications

• One or more years of sales or service experience is preferred.
• A Non-Restricted PAL is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to safely handle firearms and follow regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide legendary customer service by assisting customers in making buying decisions.
• Identify and evaluate customers’ needs and recommend products accordingly.
• Demonstrate knowledge of firearms and scopes and related outdoor activities.
• Promote Bass Pro Shops/Cabela’s programs, including in-store surveys and in-store pick-up.
• Maintain store presentation and assist with restocking, merchandising, and floor maintenance.
• Respond to customer issues with good judgment and resolve problems within scope.
• Assist in other areas of the store when business needs dictate.

## RTL Gun Counter AssociateApply: Ottawa (Kanata), ON: Part time: Posted Today: End Date: October 30, 2026 (30 days left to apply): R268807**Summary:**Reporting to the Retail Manager - Firearms - Canada, a Gun Counter Associate requires the ability to safely handle firearms and adhere to provincial, federal and company firearm regulations.
