Job summary

Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care invites applications for Registered Practical Nurse roles across full-time, part-time and casual schedules. The unit nurse will supervise staff, coordinate resident care with the interdisciplinary team and communicate with families to support care plans.

Applicants must hold a Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario and CPR certification. Shift work includes days, evenings, nights and weekends with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must hold Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
• CPR certification required.
• Strong leadership, initiative and judgement skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Supervise unit staff on a day-to-day basis and coordinate resident care with the interdisciplinary team.
• Communicate with residents’ families and support care planning across shifts.
