Job summary

Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance seeks a Registered Practical Nurse to join the Inpatient Surgical Unit in Stratford. You will coordinate and deliver quality patient care, assess needs, implement medical plans, and follow HPHA policies while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Requirements include current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and BLS, at least 2 years of recent surgical/nursing experience, and proficiency with Meditech.

Qualifications

• Current Registration and Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years recent clinical experience in Surgical Nursing and related areas.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver quality patient care by assessing needs and implementing the medical plan.
• Follow HPHA policies and nursing processes within licensure scope.
• Educate and support patients and families as part of the care team.
