Humber River Health in Toronto is hiring a Registered Practical Nurse to join the Nursing Resources Team at the Wilson Site. The role covers Medical and Surgical Inpatient Units and requires rotating shifts across days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

You must have a two-year RPN diploma, active CNO registration, and BCLS. One year of acute experience is preferred; Meditech skills are an asset. The hospital values equity, diversity and inclusion and offers an inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized Registered Practical Nursing two-year diploma program.
• Current BCLS certification.
• Current RPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Minimum 1 year acute medical/surgical experience, preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience working with the Nurse Resource Team is an asset.
• Basic computer skills and Meditech experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of community resources
• Excellent attendance and discipline free record required.
• Understanding of equity, diversity, and inclusion principles as they relate to health practices is an asset.

Responsabilités

• The successful candidate will perform Registered Practical Nurse duties in all Medical and Surgical Inpatient Units.
• Members of the Nursing Resources Team are expected to be available for all rotating shifts.
