Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance is seeking a Unit Clerk I for the Integrated Stroke Unit/Telemetry and related units in Stratford, Ontario. This Regular Part-Time role supports patient flow, communications and clerical tasks in a busy hospital setting.

Responsibilities include coordinating unit activities, order entry and transport coordination, while maintaining confidentiality and patient-centered service. Experience in healthcare and strong computer skills are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Two year Medical Office Administration diploma completed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with patients, families and providers.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities.
• Proficient typing with correct spelling and grammar.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Meditech system.
• Basic medical terminology knowledge.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate unit activities to promote relationships with patients, visitors and healthcare professionals.
• Perform receptionist, communication, order entry and transport coordination tasks on the unit.
• Assist with patient flow and ensure smooth unit operations.
