Job summary

Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital is seeking a part-time Registered Practical Nurse to join the One South Medical Department at their Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital site. The successful candidate will be available for all shifts, including weekends and holiday rotation, and will provide patient-centered care within a Cerner/EHR environment.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Experience up to full scope in Ontario.
• Two years Medical Nursing within the past three years preferred.
• Current BLS-HCP required.
• Experience in wound care and PICC lines.
• Proficiency in IV initiation and documentation.
• Knowledge of Cerner/EHR and medical directives.
• Strong communication, leadership and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the One South Medical Department.
