University Health Network (UHN) is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse for a temporary part-time role at West Park Healthcare with 15 hours per week. You will work within the 1C Acquired Brain Injury Rehab unit, providing compassionate care under the interdisciplinary team, aligned with the nursing vision and UHN standards.

The role requires an Ontario College of Nurses registration and a Practical Nursing diploma, with neuroscience experience preferred.

Qualificações

• Valid registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Diploma in Practical Nursing.
• Neuroscience nursing experience preferred.
• Neuroscience Nursing Certification an asset.
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills.

• Computer literacy and electronic health records experience.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, manage, and evaluate nursing care for patients and families within the RPN scope.
• Use current knowledge and team input to plan and implement care.
• Participate in inter-professional care planning forums and rounds.
• Provide mentorship to students and new staff.
• Contribute to hospital-wide initiatives and professional development.
