Job Responsibilities

1. Connect with guests, take guest orders via telephone, prepare orders, set up trays, and deliver items to guestrooms in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner.
2. Pick up plateware from outside guest rooms.
3. Provide professional, high-quality service according to the Hotel Room Service Standard Operating Procedures.

Qualifications

• Smart Serve Certification.
• Passion for guest service, excellent communication skills, and a friendly, outgoing attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maximize potential.
• Experience in a Premium Casual / Fine Dining Restaurant or 3-4 Star Hotel Restaurant (minimum 2 years).
• Familiarity with a full-service bar; experience selling wine is an asset.
• Knowledge of wine pairing and beverage cocktails is an asset.
• Experience with food preparation and table-side service is an asset.
• Working knowledge of electronic POS systems.
• Physical ability to stand for prolonged periods, push carts, and walk long distances using elevators.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
• Obtain SmartServe certification prior to start date.
