Position Overview

Your main responsibilities will be to connect with guests, take guest orders via the telephone, prepare orders, set up trays, deliver items to guestrooms in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner, and pick up plateware from outside of the guest rooms. Providing professional and excellent quality service as per the Hotel Room Service Standard Operating Procedure is key to success.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a Smart Serve Certification.
• Have a strong passion to wow our guests, with great communication skills, a friendly and outgoing attitude.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and willing to maximize potential.

Experience Required

• 2 years' service experience in a Premium Casual / Fine Dining Restaurant or 3-4 Star Hotel Restaurant.
• Familiarity with a full-service bar; previous experience selling wine is an asset.
• Previous wine knowledge and understanding of wine pairing are assets.
• Good understanding of beverage cocktails.
• Experience in food preparation and table-side service is an asset.
• Working knowledge of electronic POS systems.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods, push room service carts, and walk long distances using elevators.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts (day, evening, night, weekends).
• Obtain Smart Serve certification prior to start date.
