Activities

The duties and responsibilities for the Housekeeping Room Attendant include, but are not limited to the following:

1. Clean and service assigned guest rooms in a timely and organized manner according to hotel procedures and brand standards.
2. Provide genuine service and assistance to guests.
3. Maintain room attendant cart, replenishing any items as required.
4. Follow established safety procedures and wear protective equipment when needed. Respond to housekeeping room cleaning requests from guests or management promptly.
5. Keep your supervisor updated on work progress and alert them to any repairs needed.
6. Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments to ensure excellent quality and service.
7. Assist with deep cleaning projects as needed.
8. Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and standards.

Competencies We Are Seeking

• Previous hotel cleaning and customer service experience is an asset.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Stand or walk for extended periods.
• Flexible attitude towards scheduled shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Energetic and adaptable, able to work under pressure.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and oral communication.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
• Self-motivated, honest, creative, and capable of working collaboratively.
