Job summary

The Listel Hotel Whistler in Whistler, BC is seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to contribute to a spotless guest experience. The role requires self-motivation and good interpersonal skills, with shifts including day, weekend, and morning.

You will dust furniture, vacuum, change sheets, stock towels and toiletries, clean fixtures, respond to guest requests, and maintain cleanliness of rooms, corridors and common areas.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English.
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Dust furniture.
• Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
• Make beds and change sheets.
• Distribute clean towels and toiletries.
• Stock the linen closet.
• Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
• Report lost and found items.
• Respond to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items.
• Collect debris and empty trash cans.
• Clean windows, walls, and ceilings.
• Clean changing rooms and showers.
• Respond to customer complaints or concerns.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• The candidate should have minimum qualification of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Candidate having experience is an asset.
• The candidate must be able to handle weight up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
