Job summary

Fairmont Chateau Whistler invites applications for a Room Attendant. This full-time, seasonal role begins in October through December 2026 and ends in April/May 2027. Starting pay is $21.65 per hour, with increases after 6 months and after three years (to $28.40).

You will service guestrooms, ensuring cleanliness and guest comfort, while safeguarding privacy. Benefits include subsidized staff accommodation, staff cafeteria meals, and access to our Employee Travel Program.

Job Description

You are at the heart of the hotel! As a Room Attendant, you will take ownership of guest rooms, ensuring that our guests are provided with a clean, comfortable space, and be a part of creating a memorable experience for them.

This is a full-time, seasonalposition, beginning across October, November, and December 2026 and ending in April and May 2027. Starting Rate of Pay:$21.65 per hour

We recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $28.40.

Job Duties Include:

• Clean allguestrooms within your assigned shift, working on a credit system.
• Dusting, making beds, linen changes, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, inside window cleaning
• Maintain proper usage of cleaning supplies and equipment; update and record cleaned rooms to be assigned to check-in guests
• Take ownership of guests’ privacy and belongings, while ensuring exceptional service
