Job summary

Fairmont Chateau Whistler is seeking a Front Desk Agent to warmly welcome guests from arrival to departure, ensuring a memorable stay. This full-time, permanent role starts as soon as possible, with an hourly rate of $21.30. Rate progression increases after 6 months and then yearly, reaching $25.90 at three years.

Primary duties include guest check-in, cash handling, selling hotel services, and personalizing each guest experience to maximize satisfaction and revenue.

Qualifications

• Front desk experience required.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Opera or related hotel systems.
• Customer service experience is an asset.

• Proudly promote the hotel facilities, looking for opportunities to enhance a guest's stay through up-selling.

Front Desk Agent

First impressions are everything! As a Front Desk Agent, you will take care of the guests from the moment they arrive through to their departure by ensuring they have a memorable experience with us.

This is a full-time, permanent position, starting as soon as possible.

Starting Rate of Pay: $21.30 per hour. We recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $25.90.
