Job summary

Fairmont Chateau Whistler is seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to keep guest rooms pristine and contribute to a memorable stay at our Whistler, BC resort. You will perform cleaning tasks, restock supplies, and ensure guests’ privacy in a fast-paced hotel environment.

This full-time, seasonal role starts immediately with an hourly rate of 21.65 CAD, with increases after six months and at three years. Perks include subsidized staff accommodation, staff meals, and travel discounts across Fairmont

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Clean all guestrooms within your assigned shift, working on a credit system.
• Dusting, making beds, linen changes, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, inside window cleaning
• Maintain proper usage of cleaning supplies and equipment; update and record cleaned rooms to be assigned to check-in guests
• Take ownership of guests’ privacy and belongings, while ensuring exceptional service

Job Description

Room Attendant

You are at the heart of the hotel! As a Room Attendant, you will take ownership of guest rooms, ensuring that our guests are provided with a clean, comfortable space, and be a part of creating a memorable experience for them.

This is a full-time position, seasonal position, STARTING IMMEDIATELY.

Starting Rate of Pay: $21.65 per hour

We recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $28.40.
