Job summary

Roofmart is seeking enthusiastic candidates for a Fort McMurray warehouse role. Safely load shingles and related products, and assist with shipping and receiving while moving inventory and coordinating with the driver for safe deliveries.

Be prepared for physical work, with the ability to lift 80–100 lbs, maintain a clean yard and store, and follow health and safety rules. Training for fall protection and forklift may be provided.

Qualifications

• Requires physical strength and the ability to work at heights.
• Fall Protection/Working at Heights training - an asset (can be provided)
• Valid Forklift License - an asset (training can be provided)
• Ability to lift, push and carry 80-100lbs repeatedly
• Strong customer service skills
• Previous Warehouse and Forklift Experience - Preferred
• Knowledge of the roofing industry would be considered an asset
• Authorized to work in Canada

• Loading rooftops with bundles of shingles and related products
• Working closely and co-operatively with driver to ensure safe and efficient delivery of product
• Handling material by hand and with use of appropriate equipment
• Required to perform warehouse duties such as moving inventory, shipping, and receiving, when not on deliveries
• Maintaining clean and organized work environments in the store and yard
• Strictly adhering to and complying with all health and safety rules, regulations, and legislation
• Other duties as required
