Job summary

Flynn Group of Companies in Vancouver is seeking a Service Account Manager to join our Vancouver Branch. You will build and maintain long-term client relationships to grow the roofing service business and collaborate with local and national teams to support client needs and promote Flynn’s brand.

The role requires 3–5 years of estimating experience in commercial roofing, reading plans and contract documents, and proficiency with Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years estimating experience in commercial roofing.
• Knowledge of commercial roofing systems including new construction, re-roofing, and service/maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Local market knowledge preferred.
• Experience using Bluebeam or similar estimating software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated with a commitment to client service, business development and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to grow the roofing service business.
• Collaborate with local and national teams to support client needs and promote Flynn’s brand.
• Communicate with customers to understand their requirements and offer tailored service solutions.
• Follow up on quotes, tenders, and service opportunities to ensure client satisfaction.
• Represent Flynn at industry events and client meetings.
• Support marketing efforts through strategic initiatives and social media engagement.
• Prepare accurate takeoffs, estimates, and work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Deliver virtual presentations to clients and stakeholders.
• Contribute to business development and support corporate initiatives.
