Job summary

Flynn Group of Companies is seeking a Project Manager to join our Victoria Branch (6836 Kirkpatrick Crescent, Saanichton BC). You will lead a team in our Commercial Roofing Division and coordinate a wide array of projects and clients from kickoff to completion.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in commercial roofing, experience with re-roofing and new construction, and strong skills reading blueprints, managing budgets, and communicating with customers and regulators.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Commercial Roofing
• Experience with re-roofing and New Construction
• Experience with Retail, Hospitals, Schools, office buildings, etc
• Technically savvy with software
• Strong Customer Service skills / Positive Communication skills
• Proven skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans and specifications
• Knowledge of Building codes and safety regulations
• Valid Driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Outline work plan and assign duties to project staff
• Direct activities to keep project progress on schedule and within budget
• Review status reports and modify schedules or plans as required
• Prepare project reports for management, client, or others
• Coordinate project activities with government regulatory agencies
