Job summary

Marcon Metalfab in Delta (Tilbury Park) seeks a Robot Welding Operator for a weekend shift (Fri–Sun, 12-hour days). Pay ranges from $28 to $34 per hour, with a 40-hour week including 4 paid hours. You will program, troubleshoot, and monitor robotic welders and read manufacturing drawings to ensure quality.

Requirements include 5+ years of robot welding experience, ability to read blueprints, and basic maintenance of welding equipment. Ability to lift 50 lbs and work independently is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of robot welding experience.
• Experience maintaining robotic weld cells (programming & setup).
• Ability to read drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Strong problem-solving and independent work skills.

Responsibilities

• Robotically weld parts according to drawings and specifications.
• Program, troubleshoot, and monitor robotic welders; set up welders.
• Debugging, programming, path editing, and replacing damaged components.
• Ensure tasks are completed within allotted time.
• Inspect welds for conformance to specs; first off/first part QA.
