We are seeking a highly skilled Robotic Welder to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate advanced robotic welding equipment to produce high-quality welded components for various industrial applications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of welding processes, mechanical systems, and manufacturing protocols, ensuring precision and efficiency in all tasks. Shifts: Night 11:00pm - 7:15am
Pay rate: $19/hour - $22/hour + 4% vacation pay ( based on experience )
Duties
- Set up, calibrate, and operate robotic welding systems to perform MIG, TIG, and plasma cutting operations with accuracy and consistency.
- Interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and schematics to determine welding specifications and sequences.
- Conduct routine inspections of welded parts using calipers, hand tools, and other measurement devices to ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform mechanical rigging and positioning of workpieces using cranes, forklifts, and other lifting equipment.
- Maintain and troubleshoot robotic welding equipment, including calibration adjustments and minor repairs.
- Follow safety protocols related to welding, rigging, machining, and handling power tools.
- Assist in the assembly process by integrating ductwork or structural components as per project requirements.
- Read and interpret schematics for assembly instructions and manufacturing processes.
- Support the use of press brake machines for forming metal components when necessary.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including inspection reports and process logs.
Requirements
- Proven experience with robotic welding systems in a manufacturing or construction environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in rigging, machining, and the use of hand tools.
- Proficiency in MIG welding; experience with TIG welding and plasma cutting is highly desirable.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading principles and schematic interpretation.
- Experience operating cranes, forklifts, press brake machines, and power tools safely.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
- Familiarity with schematics related to ductwork or structural assembly is a plus.
- Prior construction or manufacturing experience involving assembly or ductwork installation preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining high safety standards.
