Job summary

StackTeck in Vaughan, Ontario, seeks an Automation Assembly and Test Technician to assemble, test, and troubleshoot custom robotic automation equipment for the injection molding industry. You will integrate mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components and perform factory acceptance testing, with occasional customer-site installations.

The role requires hands-on mechanical work, ability to read drawings, and travel to North/South America as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in mechanical or industrial equipment assembly.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and prints.
• Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electromechanical systems.
• Willing to travel occasionally for site work.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, troubleshoot, and service automation cells.
• Assemble and integrate mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and assembly prints.
• Perform factory acceptance testing prior to shipment.
• Provide on-site installation and service support as needed.
