A leading automation company in Barrie, Ontario is seeking a skilled Machine Builder to assemble custom automation equipment. Ideal candidates will have a qualification in Precision Metals and a proven aptitude for assembly in a collaborative setting. Responsibilities include working from blueprints, collaborating with design teams, and conducting trials. Qualifications

  • Proven mechanical aptitude and experience in automation equipment assembly.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel globally for installations and service.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble automation equipment based on blueprints, sketches, and specifications.
  • Collaborate with Mechanical Design, Electrical Build and Controls teams to ensure machine functionality.
  • Perform testing, troubleshooting, and adjustments during trial runs.
  • Document design changes and maintain build records.
  • Lead or support projects depending on experience level.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Innovative Automation is seeking a skilled and motivated Machine Builder to join our team. You’ll be responsible for assembling custom automation equipment using precision-machined components, purchased parts, and detailed design specifications. This role is ideal for mechanically inclined individuals who thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy solving complex problems.
