Job summary

Gazzola Paving Ltd., located in Etobicoke, Ontario, is hiring a Project Manager to join the Estimating team. You will liaise with customers and internal staff to bid projects, ensure awarded projects are tracked, and prepare contract documentation for new awards.

The role requires reading drawings, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office and construction software. You will participate in site meetings, perform take-offs, prepare asphalt quotations, and help manage multiple projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technologist/technician diploma required.
• Experience reading construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with client liaison ability.
• Proficiency with MS Office and construction scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Field quotation opportunities and client requests.
• Attend site meetings as required.
• Perform take-offs for quotation purposes.
• Create and distribute asphalt quotations to interested parties.
• Assist in contract documentation and subcontracts for new projects.
• Prepare project insurance and health & safety submittals.
• Track quantities and progress for monthly invoicing.
• Conduct materials tests using relevant tools and engineering knowledge.
