Job summary

Green Infrastructure Partners Inc. in the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario, is seeking a Project Coordinator to provide administrative and technical support to a large-scale construction project.

This role will help ensure drawings and specifications are followed on-site and will work closely with the Superintendent and Project Manager. The position involves assisting with schedules, manpower, materials, inspections, and budget tracking while promoting safety, effective communication with Owners

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in civil engineering, construction management, or related field; EIT/CET designation preferred.
• 2 years construction experience desired.
• Experience on MTO road construction projects is desired.
• Exposure to AFP/P3 Design-Build projects is an asset.
• Exposure to all aspects of road and bridge building.
• Results-driven with ability to deliver success in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to connect and interact with people to seek different perspectives.
• Superb communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities.
• Demonstrate versatility and resourcefulness in overcoming business challenges.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent in on-site management to ensure drawings/specs compliance.
• Support planning of schedules, manpower, materials, inspections, and equipment.
• Monitor safety, project rules, and procedures.
• Identify problems and assist in resolving schedule interferences.
• Maintain and analyze cost reports to keep the project within budget.
• Communicate with Owners and Consultants about concerns and interests.
• Monitor performance, schedule, costs, equipment, and quality control.
• Interface with project team, subcontractors, and third parties.
• Ensure a safe site and enforce policies and standards.
