Zusammenfassung

The Department of Transportation, Infrastructure and Energy on Prince Edward Island seeks a Driver Examiner to determine driver ability and recommend qualification decisions. You will administer written tests, verify identification, and enter data into Highway Safety databases as part of safety programs.

Responsibilities include conducting road test safety judgments, pre-trip and on-road exams for various vehicle classes, and guiding applicants through licensing procedures under provincial Acts

Qualifikationen

• Must have Grade 12 or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in behind-the-wheel examinations.
• Knowledge of Provincial Acts and Regulations governing road safety.

Aufgaben

• Conduct knowledge tests/written exams for all driver license classes.
• Determine road test safety and may discontinue the test as needed.
• Maintain Driver Qualification data and prepare related reports.
• Provide training for new staff on the Driver License System.
