Job summary

St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing services across Endoscopy, L2, PRE-OP Assessment Clinic and B2 Surgery, with leadership within the care team and coordination of patient discharge.

The role requires recent surgical nursing experience, current CRNM registration, and RHPA compliance. Shifts include nights and weekends with standby coverage; work is in-person within the Winnipeg Health Region's integrated sites.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program.
• Current CRNM registration required.
• Active participation in professional associations preferred.
• Recent Surgical Nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional registered nursing services for patients, including those with complex health needs.
• Administer prescribed medical treatments and coordinate patient care and discharge.
• Take a leadership role within the health care team and ensure high-quality patient care.
