Job summary

Alberta Health Services in Wabasca/Desmarais is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Home Care team. This casual/relief role provides comprehensive in-home nursing, health assessments, care planning, and ongoing family-centered support across northern Alberta communities.

Provisional permits are paid at $40.76–$55.79/hr, with full practice permit aligning to UNA rates. Posting end date is 02-DEC-2026 and date available is 12-DEC-2026.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
• Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with CRNA.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide a wide range of nursing services to patients, families, communities and populations.
• Utilize nursing processes with critical thinking, problem solving and decision making.
• Lead in an integrated, holistic approach to patient care and health promotion.
