Job summary

Alberta Health Services is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients and families within the Elnora Community Health Centre. You will use nursing processes, critical thinking and compassionate support to promote health and safety.

You will lead in an integrated, patient- and family-centred approach to care, wellness and prevention. Provisional permit holders earn $40.76 to $55.79 per hour; full permit rates align with UNA schedules.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
• Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.
• Two or more years experience working in Home Care or Continuing Care.

Upon obtaining a full practice permit, the rate of pay will be adjusted to the applicable Registered Nurse rate in accordance with UNA Article 25.02(b)(i) or (ii), as applicable.

Required Qualifications:

Additional Required Qualifications:

2 or more years experience working in Home Care or Continuing Care.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in Acute care is considered an asset.Training for Home Care in Connect Care, lower leg assessments, VAC therapy, HPT, InterRAI HC and LTCF assessments, palliative experience, and case management level 1, 2 and 3 are strongly preferred.
