Job summary

Kiewit is seeking experienced Rig Welders for the Path2Zero project in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. The position is on-site and requires a Journeyman Welder ticket, B-Pressure ticket, and multiple welding qualifications to support ASU and H2 segments.

Shifts run Monday to Thursday, 10 hours per day, and Friday, 8 hours. Successful candidates will undergo SureHire drug/alcohol testing and a weld test at the CLAC Welding Training Centre. No travel or living-out expenses are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Welder ticket.
• Valid B-Pressure ticket.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in industrial construction.
• ASU segment experience.
• FCAW for Cold Boxes on all positions.
• Confined Entry and Monitor ticket.
• Fall Protection ticket.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with Aluminum.
• Hydrogen (H2) segment experience.
• SMAW all positions.
• TIG welding experience required for H2 segment.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with Stainless Steel and Alloys.

Position Summary

Kiewit is currently seeking an experienced Rig Welders for the Path2Zero project, located in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta .

Position Requirements

• Valid Journeyman (JM) Welder Ticket
• Valid B-Pressure Ticket
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in industrial construction
• Air Separation Units (ASU) Segment
• FCAW All positions for Cold Boxes
• Valid Confined Entry and Monitor ticket
• Valid Fall Protection ticket
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with Aluminum
• Hydrogen (H2) Segment
• SMAW All positions
• TIG Welding experience is required for the H2 segment only
• Valid Fall Protection ticket
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with Stainless Steel and Alloys

Compensation and Shift Details

• Base wage: $113.35 per hour as per CLAC Collective Agreement
• Shifts run Monday to Thursday, 10 hours per day; Friday, 8 hours

Additional Information

• Candidates offered a position must successfully complete SureHire Drug, Alcohol, a half mask fit and 50lb Fitness to Work tests
• Candidates offered a position must successfully complete a weld test at the CLAC Welding Training Centre
