Job summary

Kiewit_Craft in Squamish, BC is hiring experienced Tig B-Pressure Rig Welders for the Woodfibre project. You will join a corrosion-resistant welding team on a major LNG facility under construction.

The role requires 7+ years TIG (GTAW) experience on stainless and carbon steel, plus 5+ years SMAW, with CLAC tests and a valid Red Seal and BC Class A ticket. The position operates on a 14/7 day shift rotation with 10-hour shifts, and accommodation is provided (Floatel).

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyperson Red Seal Welding Certification.
• Valid BC Class A Pressure Welding Ticket.
• WorkSafeBC Clearance Letter.
• Valid Driver's License with a clean abstract.
• Willingness to obtain BC registration if holding an equivalent out-of-province ticket.
• Minimum 7+ years TIG (GTAW) experience on stainless steel and carbon steel.
• Minimum 5+ years SMAW (Stick) hand welding experience.
• Ability to pass required CLAC weld tests: Stainless TIG, Carbon TIG, Carbon Stick.
• RMD experience.
