Reitmans is seeking a Team Lead in Montreal to collaborate with management, inspiring the team to deliver an outstanding customer experience. You will lead on the sales floor, ensure smooth daily operations, and uphold high merchandising standards.

With 6+ months in retail leadership, you will coach staff, drive performance, and maintain a welcoming environment. This part-time role supports evenings, weekends, and holidays in a busy store setting.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of leadership or supervisory experience in a retail or customer-focused environment.
• Ability to motivate, support, and guide a team toward shared goals.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to create a welcoming and engaging shopping experience.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of store operations, including scheduling, cash management, merchandising, and inventory flow.
• Passion for fashion: good sense of style and solid knowledge of fashion trends.
• Proficient in POS, ERP, ATS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Flexible availability; able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40 lbs (18 kg), and use a step ladder reaching up to 3 m (10 feet).
• High school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Support store performance by contributing to the achievement of sales goals and ensuring alignment with company objectives and KPIs.
• Assist with day-to-day operations, including policy adherence, loss prevention, opening/closing routines, cash management, report generation, and scheduling support.
• Maintain high standards of merchandising and visual presentation to ensure a clean, welcoming environment.
• Coach and develop the team through ongoing training and feedback to strengthen skills and performance.
• Promote effective communication with the Store Manager for alignment and timely execution of priorities.
• Collaborate with the management team to ensure aligned priorities and swift action.
• Model a customer-first mindset by leading on the sales floor and addressing customer concerns.
