Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Oversee the daily operations of the store, ensuring smooth and effective functioning. Duties include motivating sales teams, creating business strategies, developing promotional materials, and training new staff.
  2. Maintain store staff performance through coaching, counseling, and disciplining; plan, monitor, and appraise job results.
  3. Effectively teach and develop team members for growth.
  4. Achieve financial objectives by preparing annual budgets, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
  5. Identify customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and current customers and understanding service needs.
  6. Market merchandise by studying advertising, sales promotion, and display plans; analyze operating and financial statements for profitability.
  7. Ensure store compliance with health and safety regulations.
  8. Review operating and financial statements and sales records to determine marketing strategy adjustments.
  9. Implement and monitor loss prevention and shrink reduction programs.
Qualifications and Skills
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or relevant field preferred.
  2. 3+ years of management experience in a specialty retail environment.
  3. Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  4. Customer service-oriented with knowledge of basic business management processes.
  5. Leadership and customer management abilities.
  6. Expertise in shrink reduction, expense control, people development, merchandising strategies, brand strategy, and partnerships.
  7. Passion for board games and pop culture, with a drive to increase sales.
  8. Proven ability to recruit, hire, train, and coach a successful team.
  9. Outgoing, fun personality, and highly motivated.
