Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Overseeing the daily operations of a store, ensuring it runs smoothly and effectively. Duties include motivating sales teams, creating business strategies, developing promotional materials, and training new staff.
- Maintaining store staff performance by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Effectively teaching and developing others to the next level.
- Achieving financial objectives by preparing annual budgets, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
- Identifying current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and others who understand service requirements.
- Marketing merchandise by studying advertising, sales promotion, and display plans; analyzing operating and financial statements for profitability ratios.
- Ensuring store compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Reviewing operating and financial statements and departmental sales records to determine marketing strategy adjustments.
- Executing and monitoring loss prevention and shrink programs.
You are best suited for this role if you have the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a relevant field preferred.
- 3+ years of management experience in a specialty retail environment.
- Ability to multi-task and possess high organizational skills.
- Customer service-oriented with in-depth knowledge of basic business management processes.
- Strong leadership and customer management abilities.
- Expertise in shrink reduction, expense control, people development, merchandising strategies, brand strategy, and partnership creation.
- A passion for board games and pop culture, as well as driving sales.
- Proven ability to recruit, hire, train, and coach a winning team.
- Outgoing and fun personality.
- Highly motivated.
Pay Rate (per hour): $20-25
