JOB DESCRIPTION

We believe that clothes — and how you make them — can make a difference.

Since 1853, we’ve been obsessed with innovation to meet people’s needs. We invented the first blue jean. And we reinvented khaki pants. We pioneered labor and environmental guidelines for our manufacturing partners. And we work to build sustainability into everything we do.

A company doesn’t last 160 years by standing still. It endures by reinventing itself, striving to delight its consumers, winning in the marketplace, and by remaining true to its values.

The purpose of this position is to lead a Levi's Store with an annual volume of$15 million or more to profitable growth and build brand equity through superior strategies and execution of Store Operations. The Senior Store Managerwill supervise multiple managers with direct and indirect reporting relationships as well as manage the development and implementation of the stores business strategies designed to support the customer and associate experience and achieve growth goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage corporate partnerships to gain business intelligence to drive the localized business and, in turn, provide feedback and guidance to inform the global business
  • Coach, train and follow up with all managers within the store to ensure that customer service, operational and visual merchandising standards are met and maintained
  • Develop an in-store leadership team through the Brand Service Leadership program and other training opportunities
  • Through the in-store leadership team, manage the entire store team and ensure that the team is fully trained on product knowledge and the history and heritage of Levi Strauss & Company
  • Ensure that all communication from LS&Co. leadership is cascaded appropriately to the entire store team
Ensure the successful implementation of Levi's Stores customer service and sales philosophies
  • Meet or exceed daily established store sales and performance goals by modeling sales performance, setting goals, and continuously coaching the store team
  • Provide effective leadership by training employees and assigning tasks as appropriate
  • Set and enforce performance standards
  • Direct all efforts around employee recruiting and selection, supervision, evaluation and the retention of top talent
  • Serve as a leading example of operational excellence
  • Pilot new programs as directed by the Home Office
  • Identify trends, evaluate processes and recommend programs and initiatives that drive sales and deliver operational excellence
  • Ensure the effective administration of Levi's Stores loss prevention, inventory control and safety and security programs
  • Ensure proper control is maintained over all company assets and merchandise within the store including cash and inventory and enforce fire codes and personal safety rules
  • Effectively manage payroll for the store
  • Oversee physical inventory preparation and counts
  • Recommend merchandise replenishment plans based on store capacities and sell through
  • Recommend new products to positively impact sales
  • Maintain store appearance in accordance with Levi's Stores visual presentation standards and general housekeeping procedures
  • Attend/participate in merchant association meetings and functions, mall management meetings and events, and convention and visitor’s bureau meetings and functions as necessary
  • Recruit and increase business by implementing relationship marketing through retail promotional activities and community involvement
  • Participate in District Manager regional and company conference calls and meetings/events as needed

The expected starting salary range for this role is $94,300- $117,900. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance and business needs.
